Mike Henry was interviewed last Fall in Athens for this new documentary (airing Spring 2024) about his days at WUOG Athens. Mike was GM of the new “90.5 FM, Athens’ Rock Alternative,” which he created with other students at UGA that played a key role in launching local bands such as R.E.M., B-52s, Love Tractor, and Pylon. 90.5 FM quickly became a leader in the budding college radio scene that changed the course of popular music and culture.
